Giglioinfo recommends: As there are only a few taxis, it is advisable to book in advance to make sure a taxi is available. In some parts of the island, especially on the west side, there is no mobile phone reception. So if you want to return by taxi after a walk, you should make an appointment in advance.

The taxi stands are located at the final bus stops in the 3 towns of Giglio Porto (Piazza G. Rum), Giglio Castello (Piazza Gloriosa) and Giglio Campese (Via dell’Allume). However, they usually wait in Giglio Porto for the arrival of the tourists on the ferries.
